How long does it take to build a website?
A complete first draft is usually ready within a few minutes, depending on how many pages and sections you request. The builder shows a progress bar and an estimated time while it works.
Which browsers does the extension support?
The extension download page lists the browsers that are currently supported, together with installation steps for each one.
Building and editing
What should I write in my prompt?
Cover five things. Say what the site is for, who will visit it, which pages you need, the look and tone you want, and real details such as your business name. Our prompt-writing guide includes a full example.
Can I edit the website after the AI builds it?
Yes. Every page, section, and line of text can be changed in the editor, and the styles panel adjusts colors, fonts, and spacing across the whole site at once.
What if I don’t like the first result?
Add the details that were missing from your description and build again, or edit only the parts that aren’t right. Small, specific changes usually work better than rewriting everything at once.
Can I see and change the code?
Yes. The code view shows the markup behind each page, which is useful for developers and agencies who want to review the structure or fine-tune details before handing a site over.
Accounts and privacy
Why do I need an account?
Your account identifies you when you use WebDevExtension. As soon as you create one or sign in, you are taken to the extension download page to install the builder.
How is my password protected?
Passwords are never stored as plain text. They are hashed with a one-way algorithm before they are saved, and repeated failed sign-in attempts are temporarily blocked to slow down guessing.
Where can I read how my data is used?
